Lorraine Morales Obituary

October 29,1932
April 6, 2012
Lorraine was the first child born to Maurice George and Laura (Morin) Lemire in Manchester, NH. She had a younger brother named Albert. She married Robert Eugene Belair on Thanksgiving Day in 1952. She had four children with him before he passed in July of 1963. Their names are Michael, Marc, Denise and Diane. In 1969 she married Joseph Garcia Morales from Mountain View, CA. She embraced his three children, Joe, Carol and David, all similar in age to her own children. Joe passed away in April 2008. Her life was centered around her parents and her children and all those her children loved. One never knew who they might find at the dinner table when visiting the family. She encouraged all of her children to be the best they could be and to embrace their individuality. She never differentiated between her children, their spouses, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved them all. She reveled in being a stay at home mom. In 1998 she and Joe relocated from San Jose, CA to Bellingham, WA. They chose a remarkable house near the crest of Alabama Hill and watched the sunsets. She was an avid walker, a wonderful cook, a great listener and a good friend to so many. They family would like to thank Emeritus at Fairhaven, Whatcom Hospice, Assumption Church, Eden Alexander and, in particular, the staff at Mt. Baker Care for all the love, support and care they gave her during the last years of her life. We are grateful beyond words.

There were many days at Fairhaven Estates that you made me laugh. Your warm hugs and smile and all the help you offered, but most the time, it was about fun and laugher. I will always remember you. Love to you Mark in this time of sadness.

Every time I see a May poll or smell a lilac, I will think of you.
