Joanne, Craig, Darin, and Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Merril was a good friend. We worked together for 36 years. We had many good times together. I can remember the times when both of our families would pile in Merril's '54 Ford, all nine of us, and go out to Cherry Point. Merril and I played slow pitch together for Intalco and bowled together for many years. Merril, his brother Jerry, and I used to go fishing on the Nooksack River. We didn't catch many fish, so we would just drink beer. We had a lot of good times with your family and ours at Old Settlers and camping. Merril and I both liked sports. The only disagreement was he was a Washington Cougars fan and I was a Washington Huskies Fan. Merril has been our friend for fifty years and we will miss him a lot.
