Olga Logan Obituary

Bellingham, Washington - Olga Ilene Logan passed away on June 13, 2025 in Bellingham, WA at the age of 82. She was raised on a dairy farm in Clipper, WA, and graduated from Mount Baker High School. She left Whatcom County to attend the University of Washington, and to start her career as a nurse. She was married for 31 years, and together they raised their three children. After retiring, she moved back to Whatcom County. In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling with family and friends; and will be remembered for her kind and caring nature. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Logan; her parents, Jorgen and Agnes Espeland; and brother Gene Espeland. She is survived by her sons Michael (Shannon) Logan of Bellingham, WA; John (Heloise) Logan of Sunnyvale, CA; and daughter Diana (John) Ison of Olympia, WA; and six grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Denny (Karen) Espeland of Bellingham, WA. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Remembrances can be made to your favorite charity.

We met Ilene through my husband´s uncle Ted. They spent time together on a couple of trips and many dinners. She was a lovely lady and was very kind to Ted. We enjoyed visiting with her when they visited us in Arizona.
Our deepest condolences to Ilene´s family. Rest in peace, dear lady.

Ilene was a volunteer at the PeaceHealth Cancer Center for many years. She had a quiet and gentle demeanor, and our patients and our staff loved having her here. Peaceful rest to you, dear friend.
