Patricia Scheremeta

1947 - 2026

Patricia was born to Clifford "Jack" and Jean Edzards, and adopted soon after birth by Howard and Bernice (Schneider) Nicholson. She grew up in Anacortes, WA, where she graduated from high school and married David R. Dawson. They had two daughters. A lifelong enthusiast for crafting, plants and cats, Patricia also had a decades long career as a bookkeeper for several companies, including her late husband Bob's business of Whatcom Equipment Repair. An easy smile, a hospitable home and a quickness to be a friend made Pat memorable. With her two daughters, and grandkids the front door always seemed to be open. She is survived by one brother, Michael ; daughter Kimberly; 8 grandchildren and seven greats; pre-deceased by parents, adoptive parents, three husbands, daughter Erin and one grandson, Taylor. The family will have a private memorial time. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your local animal shelter.
