Robert E. Evans

Robert E. Evans, born 5/10/30 in Sacramento, Calif., died on 12/08/11 of complications from Parkinson's. Bob was loved and cherished by his wife, Dixie, daughters Tiffany Olsen, Cuquita Lindsey (Mark), and son Brendan Brannen, 8 grandchildren, Stefan Ulanoff, Danielle Forbes, Brendalyn Brannen, Jordan Forbes, Jerad Brannen, Cody Olsen, Morgan Olsen, and Chandler Olsen. Bob was also a great-grandfather to Destiny Ulanoff, Madison Ulanoff, Gabby Forbes, and Carter Forbes.
Bob served in the Air Force during the Korean War, graduated from UCLA, then attended law school while working for Cannel & Chaffen. Changing direction, Bob became the top real estate agent for Coldwell Banker Beverly Hills office, going on to become a Vice-President of the company and moved to Mercer Island, Wa., opening and managing their office for many years. In later years Bob, missing being more active "in the field" and selling real estate, convinced his wife to become an agent also and they became known as "the Home Team", one of the top producing teams for John L. Scott.
Moving to Bellingham for their retirement years, Bob & Dixie have enjoyed the many activities offered, including Newcomer's Club of Whatcom County, many dear friends and neighbors, who have been a blessing to the two of them. Being close to family, giving and receiving their love has been an important part of their lives. An open house memorial will be held on Dec. 18, 1:00-5:00 @their home.
