Bellingham, Washington - Robin Helen Jacobson passed away September 23, in Bellingham, Washington, surrounded by her husband Tim, and family. Robin was 78 years old. Born in New Rochelle, New York on September 21, 1946, Robin moved to Washington state with her mother, Erma June Burns, and her brothers. She and her beloved husband, Tim, who met when they were 12 years old, and married for over 60 years, shared their life together in Bellingham and Ferndale. Oftentimes, Robin reminisced of her time at Ferndale High School with friends, watching Tim play sports, and playing in the band.

After her daughters were grown, Robin reentered the work force, working at Jim Elvig Chiropractic office, Sands for Children, and Family Health Associates. Robin connected with those she worked with, cherishing each personal interaction. She also valued those she was able to keep in touch with after her retirement.

Robin loved traveling to Hawaii, Texas, Montana, and California with family. She found such joy singing, especially her time in Calvary Temple's annual Singing Christmas Tree and worship nights. In addition, she also sang with her father-in-law when called upon during Sunday morning services. But, above all, she loved her Savior. Many times, she would be found sitting in her chair, bible opened in her lap, studying each verse, as worship music played in the background.

Robin is survived by her husband Tim, daughters Lori (Loren) Schiewek and Wendi (Glenn) Wong, along with grandchildren Danielle (Ryan) Martin, Nathan (Breanne) Schiewek, Zackary Schiewek, Emma Wong, and Malia Wong, as well as four great grandchildren.

She will be dearly missed.

A Celebration of Life in remembrance of Robin will be held at a later date.
