Westport, Washington - Steven Glen Sams born December 24, 1961 in Bellingham, Washington, to David and Sharon Sams. Steve passed away on February 14, 2025, due to natural causes.
As a child Steve loved camping with his family which grew to a passion for the great outdoors and learning about all mother nature's gifts.
While living in California he became a licensed journeyman carpenter & general contractor. He enjoyed of all kinds of woodworking. Steve was living his dream on his 33' sailboat and planned sailing the PNW this summer.
Steve was preceded in death by the love of his life & soulmate, Yvonne Welch. He was Survived by his Mother, Sharon Blood, Father, David Sams (wife, Marilynn) and Brother, William (Willie) Sams; Sister, Christine Sams (husband, Chuck LeFevre). He is also survived by loving Aunts, Uncles, & Cousins.
