William Axtell VanVleet Jr.
July 31, 1938 - January 15, 2021
Everson, Washington - William A. VanVleet Jr. passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on January 15, 2021. William was born in El Paso Texas to William Axtell VavVleet Sr. and Martha Blankenship VanVleet. William grew up in Southern California. Moved to Rupert Idaho with his family in the 70's where he was a successful Dairy farmer. After farming he returned to California to work for the State Department of Agriculture. Upon retiring he moved to Everson, WA in 1996. William "Bill" is survived by his beautiful wife of 62 years, Judy Vanvleet; his daughter, ShaunMarie and son-in-law, Roger Souve; his grandsons, William Vanvleet, Chris Souve; granddaughters, Heather Souve, Rachel Souve, Karlee Souve; his great-grandsons, Parker and Kayden Vanvleet, Logan and Hudson Souve. William was a Veteran in the Navy, serving in the Submarine Corp.. on the USS Blue Gill. William was a Life member of the Elks and Masons. He was a member Nooksack Valley Reformed Church. Memorial Service at a later date.
