Wilma Shultz

Formerly of Beloit, WI - Wilma Shultz, 96, of Winter Haven, FL and formerly of Beloit, WI, passed away on Saturday, August 16, 2025 in her daughter's home. She was born on January 12, 1929 in Rock Co., the daughter of Louis and Minnie (Swain) Hartwig. Wilma was a 1947 Orfordville High School graduate. She married Herbert Shultz on April 24, 1948 in St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. He predeceased her in June 2001. Wilma was formerly employed by Beloit Hospital as a nurses aide until her retirement in 1986. She was a former member of River of Life United Methodist Church. Wilma loved spending time with her family; especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include her daughters, Linda Uveno of Winter Haven, FL and Debbie (Steve) Burner of Winter Haven, FL; grandchildren, Jim (Wendy) Marshall, Kristin (Christopher) Graves, Heather (Gary) Harnack, Michele Ambrose, and Teresa Pahl; great-grandchildren, Campbell (Colin) Kloostra, Caleb Marshall, Aaron Graves, Liam Graves, Abby Harnack, Chase Harnack, Jenna Ambrose, Shelby Ambrose, Jaeden Pahl, Willow Miescke-Pahl; and daughter-in-law, Janice (Thomas) Shultz. Wilma was predeceased by her parents; son, Thomas Shultz; brother, Louis; sisters, Marion Fick and Ruby Simonson; and son-in-law, Salvatore Uveno. A Funeral Service for Wilma will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 28, 2025 in the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Rd., Beloit, WI, with Reverend Gene VanGalder officiating. Burial will be in Plymouth Cemetery. Visitation of Remembrance will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service Thursday in the funeral home.
