Dad, I do realize this may seem fruitless. But has not been a day when thoughts of you did not enter my mind and heart. I am sorry for having failed at being the son you had wanted. Our life's took many wrong turns and we separately followed our own paths. Through it all you remained my father and I your son. Both of us either too proud or stubborn to make the first move. I have always loved you and wished nothing but peace in your life. You will live in my soul for all of time. I do know now you have found true peace and comfort. Your son, daughter, father, mother, brother and sisters are walking with you now. Perhaps I will one day share that pleasure. God rest you Dad, God speed and God Bless.

I remember walking by your house on my way home from work and you'd be sitting on your front porch and we would talk for hours. You would always make me laugh and make me think. I pray that you are in a better place with no pain and sadness. I will always miss you. Love you Uncle David.

Uncle David. I so enjoyed your curiosity. You had a lust for learning and a well formed opinion on just about everything. I remember you from childhood as a fun uncle. In recent years, have known you to have lost your joie de vive. My prayers are with you that your journey takes you to a place of joy. God bless and God speed. - kim

I always enjoyed David's sweet and accepting view of life, people and the world. He always seemed to find the gift of comfort in all of the above. Godspeed David.
