Donna Lee Hart

1949 - 2022

Donna Hart, 72, a lifelong resident of Bennington, Vermont, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, on March 17, 2022, following a brief illness. Born on April 1, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Ernest L. Murray, Jr., and the former Carmelia "Millie" Ruggeri. Donna was a lifelong Bennington resident and a beloved member of the community. On June 22, 1985, she married The love of her life; John Hart. Donna lived for her children and grandchildren, who were the light of her life. She loved all children and was like a mom to her kids many friends. She had boundless energy and was the life of the party wherever she went. Donna enjoyed singing dancing and listening to music. To her, life was a celebration. She was a kind hearted, compassionate, and generous woman. Donna is survived by her husband; John Hart. Her children Crystal Ottaviano of Stamford, Connecticut, Guy "Tony" Ottaviano, Jr., of Burlington, Vermont, and Casie Hart-Connolly of Boston, Massachusetts . Crystal's children; Carmelia and Mason. Tony's Children; Jedi and Quinn. And Casie's daughter; Cora. Donna is also survived by a sister Rosan Greene of Bennington, and a brother Ernie Murray III of North Bennington.

Donna is predeceased by a brother Joseph Agresta. Visitation for Donna will be held from 11am till 1pm on Monday, March 21, at the E.P. Mahar and Son Funeral Home in Bennington, Vermont. A service will take place at the funeral home at 1 pm with a graveside service to follow at White Chapel Cemetery on Chapel Road in Bennington.
