Eleanor Gould Obituary

Eleanor Borig Gould passed away peacefully on September 22nd in Andover, MA. Eleanor was born on June 15, 1929 in Philadelphia, and was the daughter of the late Laura and Alexander Borig. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles W. Gould. Eleanor graduated from Frankfort High School in 1947 and worked for the Pennsylvania Telephone Company until 1955 when she married Charlie and moved to Bennington. Eleanor was a loving mother to Susan Koniares of Boxford, MA and Anne Delaney and her husband, Michael, of North Andover, MA. She was a devoted grandmother to Katherine Koniares of Wellesley, MA, Michael Koniares and his wife, Kristen of Topsfield, MA, and a great-grandmother to Eleanor and John Koniares. Eleanor was predeceased by her son-in-law John Koniares and her brother Walter Borig. After raising her family, Eleanor worked with Charlie at Gould Jewelers and in later years was a receptionist at Hemmings Motors. Eleanor enjoyed gardening, entertaining, and traveling; Charlie and she especially enjoyed their trips to Europe and California. A funeral mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart-St. Francis DeSales Church on Monday, September 29 at 11:00. Burial will be at Park Lawn Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Hanson and Walbridge Funeral Home. Memorial Remembrances can be made to the American Heart Association (www.heart.org)
