Ellen Gould Obituary
Born on August 2, 1943, in St. Petersburg, Florida, she was the daughter of Harry and Anna Scott. She attended St. Petersburg High School where classmates believed she was the "most humorous"in the class and playfully called her "Scotty".
On March 9, 1967, she married Yale Robert Gould in St. Petersburg, Florida.
She dedicated her life to serving as a military spouse and mother of two children. As a family, they lived in places all over the country as well as places overseas where she and Yale were able to travel extensively in Europe while living in Germany.
Ellen is survived by her brother, Richard Scott of St. Petersburg; her son, Robert (Ginger) Gould of Tallahassee; her daughter, Christine (Raymond) Johnson of Lloyd; and her grandson, Garrison Johnson, also of Lloyd. She was preceded in death by her husband, Yale, and her parents Harry and Anna Scott.
She had a lifelong love of animals and cherished the time she spent with her dogs, cats, and horses. Ellen was also an avid reader with a deep passion for history, and she was known for her remarkable knowledge of the subject.
Her family finds comfort in knowing she is reunited with her husband, parents, and the beloved animals who went before her.
No memorial services are scheduled currently.
