Elliott Jr.
1939 - 2015 MANCHESTER CENTER Everett L. Elliott, Jr, 76, a longtime resident of Manchester, passed away October 23, 2015 at Rutland Regional Medical Center. Everett was born in Manchester on August 3, 1939 the son of the late Everett L. Elliott, Sr and Florence Pierson. He received his education at the Depot School in Manchester and graduated from Burr & Burton Seminary. Everett worked for various area businesses including Big Bromley, Orvis, Casey's Exxon, a painter for Ken Hewes and owned and operated a taxi service. He was an avid fan of NASCAR Racing, a past Trustee of the Fraternal Order of Eagles 2551, past member of the Manchester Fire Department and a friend of the VFW Harned Fowler Post 6471. At Everett's request there are no formal funeral services. If friends desire, memorial gifts in Everett's memory may be made to the Crippled Children's Organization, c/o of Brewster & Shea Funeral Service, P.O. Box 885, Manchester Center, VT 05255.
