Gerald Colvin Obituary
As a sergeant major, he received a direct commission and was a major at the time of his retirement. He was a veteran of combat service in Korea, two tours in Viet Nam, and peacetime assignments in Germany and the USA, much of that with Special Forces.
He leaves his mother, Effie, and wife, Mary Lou, of Paris, Tenn., and four grown children and their families.
FUNERAL NOTICE: Internment took place in the Paris Memorial Cemetery on Sept. 26, 2009.

So sorry to hear of Jerry's passing. We were good friends when we were in high school. Jerry and I e-mailed each other on a regular basis. He was a good friend from my past and Pat and I will miss him.

Dear Mary Lou and Family,
We share your sorrow in Jerry's unexpected passing. I believe the following thoughts are shared with his many school friends and military associates. He certainly stood out as a schoolmate, soldier and member of his retirement community during his lifetime. Although gone from us, his fond memories remain.
