Joan Browe Obituary

Joan Evelyn Browe 87 passed away peacefully in Bennington on Wednesday evening June 7 , 2023 in the company of her loving family. Born in Bennington on March 18, 1936, she was the daughter of Joseph E. and Jennie E. (Bushee) Cutler. She grew up in Bennington where she attended local schools. Joan had resided in East Wallingford for many years with her husband Harry Browe. Previously she had traveled with Harry to Wyoming. She loved living there. They eventually returned to the Bennington area to be nearer family. Joan had always enjoyed traveling and will be remembered as a loving caring person who deeply loved and enjoyed her family. Joan had a gentle caring way about her that made people love her. Joan loved making people laugh and smile. She found great joy and satisfaction with the simple things in life. She leaves her loving children Kenny Jones (Kathy) of Bennington, Keith Jones (Genevieve) of Bennington, Kathy Kimball of Williamstown, MA and Kelly Delapena (Stephen) of Nashua, NH, stepchildren Perry Browe (Jeannette) of East Wallingford and Holly Browe (Tim) of Pownal, her grandchildren Kenny Jones Jr. (Leanne), Kayla LaCasse (Christopher), Luke Kimball (Jennifer), Meaghan Delapena, Perry Browe, Morgan Delapena, Chelsea Smith and Kayti Browe, great-grandchildren Isabella LaCasse, Hannah LaCasse, Aaron LaCasse, Stephanie LaCasse, Rodrick Bourn, Nathan Kimball, Vivienne Jones, Blair Kimball and Lucy Joan Kimball, many nieces nephews and cousins. She leaves her sisters Jean (Pierce) Pierce of Bennington and Shirley (Cutler) Whittemore of Maine and many step brothers and sisters. Joan was predeceased by her husband Harry Browe, brother Edward Cutler, sister Linda(Cutler)Stratton, granddaughter Heather Jones and daughter-in-law Dawn Jones. It was Joan's request that no formal services be held, her family will honor her life privately. Memorial gifts may be made to the Bennington Rescue Squad in care of the Hanson Walbridge & Shea Funeral Home, 213 West Main Street, Bennington, VT 05201. My heart breaks for the loss of grandma Joan I grew up around jan and harry we always went to there camp in Wallingford always had fun .she was a loving person you will be missed but never forgotten.my deapiest sympathy to all the family.my heart aches forcyou all.
