Joseph Wassick Obituary

Joseph A. Wassick 92, of Bennington VT, passed away peacefully at Brookdale Fillmore Pond on October 10, 2024.

Joseph was born on May 28, 1932. He was a longtime member and past chief of the Bennington Fire Department. He was a lifetime member and past treasurer of the Bennington Elks Club #567. Joe was a great fan of Mt Anthony Basketball and the Boston Red Sox.

He is survived by his wife, Jean of 68 years and their children: Robert and wife Mary, Thomas and wife Diane, and Mary Jean and husband John. They have seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

At Joe's request, there will be no calling hours or funeral services at this time.

Contributions in his memory may be made to the charity of one's choice.
