Leon Rudd Obituary

Born June 7, 1938 in North Adams Mass. Died in Las Vegas, NV on November 7, 2016. Leon attended Hoosick Falls High School and UVM. He got a BA in accounting and went on to New York City to work for thirty years. He retired and moved back to the farm in North Pownal with his mother until she passed. He then moved to Bennington and traveled back and forth to Las Vegas to avoid any more cold winters.

He is survived by his cousins Elizabeth Wilcox, Harvey Burdick, Ruth Lingner, Paul Mason, Betty Rudd, and Frances Lampman. He also leaves behind Jerry Dills, his life partner of 25 years and Percy Tatem, whom he worked with in New York for most of those 30 years.

SERVICES: Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday November 12, 2016 at 11am at Parklawn Cemetery in Bennington. There are no visiting hours.

Those who knew him loved him, those who did not know him missed out of a wonderful experience.
