Mary Muir-Keator Obituary

Mary Muir-Keator of Orange City, Fla., formerly of Bennington, passed peacefully in her sleep on March 9, 2013, at Ridgecrest Nursing Home in DeLand, Fla.
Mary was born June 27, 1934 in Rutland to Mary (LaPine) and Francis Gosgrove.
She moved to Orange City in the late 1970's with her husband Richard Muir (deceased) and worked as a caregiver until her retirement.
She later married Irving Keator (deceased) and continued living in their home until entering Ridgecrest in January of this year.
Mary is survived by a daughter, Kathleen Bruno of Castleton; a son, Andrew Krisch of Rutland; a sister, Joanne (Adrien) LaFlamme of Bennington; a brother, Howard (June) King of Hoosick Falls, N.Y., several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her mother and stepfather, Mary and Walter King Sr., and by a brother Walter King, Jr.
At her request, there were no calling hours or service. Her wish was to be cremated and interred with her late husband, Mr. Keator at The Bushnell National Cemetery in Bushnell, Fla. Arrangements were made by Lankford Funeral Home in DeLand, Fla.
The family would like to thank the staff at Ridgecrest for the care given our sister and a special thank you to Georgina and Howard Forest for their "Helping Hands."
God's Speed Mary, we'll miss you. Rest in Peace.
