Michael Graham Obituary
Assisting on the Altar was Merton J. Snow. The organist was Louise Gauthier and the soloists were Mildred Pierce and Randy Frost.
Randy Frost sang “Ave Maria Bach-Gounod” and Mildred Pierce sang “Amazing Grace,” “Here I Am Lord” and “On Eagle’s Wings”.
The recessional hymn “Be Thou My Vision” was offered by Louise Gauthier.
As the family processed into the church, each of Mr. Graham’s granddaughters placed a rose on the altar and his grandsons placed a carnation.
The Scriptural Readings were offered by a son, John Graham, and a son-in-law Daniel Reilly. The Offertory Gifts were presented by three granddaughters, Moriah Reilly, Morgan Duda and Carly Scheerer. Eulogies were offered by Daniel Reilly and John Graham. Following the Mass, military honors were offered to the Korean War Veteran by Maurice Rancourt, who sounded Taps.
The American Flag was presented to Mr. Graham’s wife, Mary, by American Legion Post 13 member Ralph Brown. A reception followed the Mass at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Graham.
Michael Graham Jr., a resident of Royal Street in North Bennington, died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2008 in Bennington.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Mahar and Son Funeral Home in Bennington.
