Sally B. Perkins

1945 - 2025

Sally B. Perkins, 80, of North Bennington, VT, passed away Sunday October 26, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. She was born in Bennington, VT on March 14, 1945, the daughter of the late Horton and Frances (Wager) Bahan. Sally was a 1963 graduate of Arlington Memorial High School and a 1965 graduate of St. Joesph's. She married Charles Albert Perkins, Jr., on September 4, 1965, at the Federated Church of East Arlington. Mr. Perkins passed away on April 24, 2019. Sally was a Direct Support Specialist with United Counseling Service for 25 years. She always had a smile on her face. She loved traveling and dancing with her husband as well as camping and boating. In her earlier years, Sally crocheted a lot of blankets. Her favorite holiday was Christmas, which she enjoyed celebrating year-round. She was an avid baker with fudge being one of her specialties. Sally is survived by her daughter, Felicia (William) Perkins of Hoosick Falls, NY, her three sons; Adam (Dawn) Perkins of Pownal, VT, Alexander (Valarie) Perkins of Hoosick Falls, NY, and Chaz (Jessica) Perkins of N. Bennington, VT, her grandchildren; Aaron, Joshua, Ryan, Seth, Hailey, Dylan, Gage, Garrett and Payton, 4 great grandchildren and one on the way, her sister; Patricia (John) Masi of Bennington, VT, sisters-in-law, Doris (Mark) McKeon of Chester, VT, Bonnie (David) Squiers of White Creek, NY, and Joy Bahan of Bennington, VT and a brother-in-law, Peter (Penny) Perkins of Arkansas. In addition to her husband and parents, Sally was predeceased by her in-laws; Charles and Margaret Perkins Sr., a brother, Phillip Bahan and two sisters; Linda Smith and Wendy Bahan. Graveside services will be held on Saturday November 1, 2025, at 1:00 PM at the Grandview Cemetery in Shaftsbury, VT.
