Leonard "Bud" Hatch Jr.

1947 - 2025

Leonard "Bud" Hatch, Jr., age 78, of Warsaw, Missouri, passed away Monday, October 6, 2025, at the Harry S. Truman VA Hospital in Columbia, Missouri. He was born on June 9, 1947, in Elizabeth, Louisiana, the son of Leonard and Teet (Thompson) Hatch.

He is preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Melissa Raye (Hatch) Addington, two brothers, Dewitt Doyal and Ralph Hatch, a sister, Ermie Lee (Hatch) Vidrine, a nephew, Carl Wayne "Bubba" Bellello, and a step grandson, Preston Flint.

Those left to cherish his memory are Patricia Hatch, of 39 years of marriage; two stepchildren, Terri Clark of the home and Jimmy Flint and wife Katherine of Lansing, Kansas; a great granddaughter, Dalis Dotie of the home; two brothers, Roger Wayne Hatch and wife Janet of Chickasha, Oklahoma, and Mitch Hatch and wife Wanda of Moss Bluff, Louisiana; two sisters, Olive Mae Sadler of New Roads, Louisiana, and Junita (Hatch) Perkins and husband Brad of Glenmora, Louisiana; eight grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Bud was a member of Fristoe Pentecostal Lighthouse Church and a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association since 2005. He was also a lifetime member of the VFW in Warsaw, the American Legion Post #642 in Sedalia, the Riders of Missouri Chapter #217, and a member of the 820 Redhorse Air Force Group.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, October 17, 2025, at the Reser Funeral Home in Warsaw. Interment will follow the funeral at 1:00 P.M. at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, Missouri.

Visitation will be held Thursday evening, October 16th, from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
