Rebecca Miller Obituary

Rebecca Lynn Miller, age 66, of Sedalia, passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at her home. She was born on July 19, 1958, in Bolivar, Missouri, the daughter of Freddie Bernard Miller and Willie Lou (Merritt) Miller.
Rebecca graduated from Hickman Mills High School in Kansas City, Missouri. She served in the United States Navy from 1977 until her honorable discharge in 1981. During her time in the Navy, she participated in several high-level training programs and later worked as a journalist and editor for a small base newspaper.
In 1986, she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts, and in 1989, she received her Master of Arts from Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg. Rebecca had a deep love for art, especially watercolor painting. She worked for several craft and decorating businesses in Sedalia and often entered her designs in the Missouri State Fair, where she received numerous awards.
She is survived by two brothers: Donald Miller and his wife, Judy, of Spokane, Washington; and Charles Miller and his wife, CJ, of Warsaw, Missouri.
Arrangements for her cremation are under the direction of Reser Funeral Home in Warsaw. Graveside services will be held at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, Missouri, at a later date.
