Willie Pierson Obituary

Willie Lawrence Pierson, of Warsaw, Missouri, passed away September 4, 2025, at the age of 89. Willie was born on October 1, 1935, in Clarksville, Arkansas, to Mill Franklin Pierson and Elma Houston Martin. He truly never met a stranger, which played a vital role supporting his passion for garage sales and pedaling.


He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Joan Beatrice Pierson, his sisters, Millie Morgan and Tennie Sota Nowotny, his son, Ronald Douglas Pierson, and his daughter-in-law, Berylinda Kay Pierson.


Willie leaves behind his sons, Ricky Lawrence Pierson, Michael Lynn Pierson, his daughter-in-law, Marilyn Sue Pierson, his 7 grandchildren, Autumn Marchele James, Ricky Allen Pierson, Howard Edmund Gray III, Rebecca Lynn Urbina, Kori Jo Jungeblut, John Douglas Pierson, and Amber Nicole Ambrusko, his 14 great grandchildren, and his 17 great great grandchildren.


To commemorate his cherished time with all of us, a Celebration of Life is scheduled for September 28, 2025, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Warsaw Community Building, 181 W. Harrison St, Warsaw, MO 65355.
