So sorry for your family. Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always. Mr. Henriques was a great teacher- blessed to have had him as a part of my life while I was growing up.

I remember him always threating in a stearn way, about sticking his size 13 foot up their butts. He was a funny man. I am sorry for your families loss.

Sincere condolences to the entire family on your loss. I remember "Mr. Henriques" as my Earth Science teacher at Mt. Greylock H.S back in the late 60s and he was a delight. My uncle William Roy was also in the army with him during the Korean War and spoke very highly of him. I´m sure he´ll be remembered dearly.

30+ years later I still remember many of his antics and sayings that would make us laugh or roll our eyes. Often at the end of class "Go forth! [at end of class] Unless you're fast, then go first!" His off-key rendition of "When the Red Red Robin" (the words to which he got slightly wrong) still gets stuck in my head.
Go forth, Basil--you enriched my adolescent life a great deal. I hope you left this world with a clear conscience, knowing you are not responsible for my failure to understand 8th grade physical science.
Sincere condolences to Nancy and the rest of Basil's family, who I hope have many more memories of his endearing character.

Deepest sympathies for your loss. He was a great teacher. Tough, but an amazing sense of humor that made his science class one of my favorite at Greylock. My most sincere condolences
