Beatrice Victoria Faustine

1918 - 2018

Beatrice Victoria Faustine, nee Lepera, was born on Nov. 3, 1918 in North Adams, MA. She was the third daughter born to Mary (Gigliotti) and Vincenzo Lepera. Mother was called to her heavenly home on Dec. 29, 2018 after celebrating her 100th birthday. Beatrice was a first generation American born to Italian immigrant parents. Her early education was limited to the 8th grade. After she raised her children, she obtained a GED and ultimately a degree from University of Massachusetts. She loved learning, the arts, and volunteerism, and that love was passed down.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank, in 1985, as well as her parents and all siblings.
Left to mourn her passing are Dr. Anthony Faustine of Pittsfield, Jacqueline Widel; (Jon) of Belleville, IL, Patricia Doyle of Richmond, MA, Pamela Fausting of Princeton, MA, and Andrea Ettinger of Princeton, MA. Five grandchildren: Joshua Moore, Alexander Moore, Gillian Woods (Dan), Gregory Faustine, and Jesse Ettinger; Five great grandchildren: Jacob, Issac, Lilac, Micah, and Lucas. The family would like to thank doctors and nurses and staff of Hillcrest Commons.
FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services will take place Monday (Today) December 31, 2018 at 11:00 AM at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-BENCIVENGA FUNERAL HOME 5 Elm St. Pittsfield, MA 01201 with the Rev. Christopher Fedoryshyn, Administrator of St. Mark's Church officiating. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery in North Adams. There are no calling hours.
