Mrs. Bonnie L. Fuller, of Lenox, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 18, 2025. Born in Hutchinson, KS, on April 17, 1938, daughter of the late George and Mildred (Bradley) Heironimus, she graduated from Wichita High North with the class of 1956 and later attended Berkshire Community College.
For most of her life, Bonnie was a homemaker - her children and grandchildren were her joy. Her various positions in the workforce included jobs at Boeing, Jiminy Peak, General Electric, and the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill, as well as a realtor at Fonville Morisey. Bonnie was a writer and editor. She honed her craft working as an interviewer and columnist at The Berkshire Eagle and Berkshire Week, and later at The Mount.
An excellent cook and baker, Bonnie was adventurous in the kitchen. Delicious homemade apple pies were the hallmark of Thanksgiving. Her scrumptious cheesecake was in demand, and people encouraged Bonnie to open her own bakery, but she only wanted to cook and bake for those she loved. She was an avid reader and lifelong learner who especially enjoyed mystery novels. Passionate about dogs, having always had one throughout her life, she volunteered at the Berkshire Humane Society. Before that, she volunteered with R.S.V.P. in the Berkshires.
Bonnie was predeceased by her husband of 36 years, Charles M. Fuller, whom she married on November 26, 1988. Charles passed away in 2024.
She is survived by her four children from her first marriage, Daniel B. Ross (wife - Sally Willcox) of Los Angeles, CA, Christopher B. Ross of Athens, AL, David J. Ross (wife Chiyoko) of Rosamond, CA and Elizabeth A. (Ross) Corsa of Pittsfield, MA. Grandchildren include Ken K. Ross, Jackson B. Ross, Gabriel B. Corsa, Amelia B.W. Ross, Juliana A. Corsa, Shane Fuller and Hannah (Fuller) Preite. She also leaves several nieces and nephews and her little dog, Tito.
Thank you to the caring staff at Berkshire Medical Center, Mount Carmel Care and HospiceCare in the Berkshires, especially Wendy, who all noted how sharp and quick-witted she was right up to the end of her life.
