Bruno Rufo Obituary
NORTH ADAMS -- Funeral services for Bruno Rufo, 77, of 61 Langlois Avenue, Williamstown, were held Wednesday morning at the Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., with the Rev. William Furey, pastor of Berkshire Chapel in Lanesboro, officiating.
Candida Chilson, daughter, read a poem of reflection written by Stephanie Rufo, granddaughter.
Graveside services with military honors by the U.S. Navy followed in Southview Cemetery with Mr. Furey offering prayers. Taps was played and the flag was presented to Mr. Rufo’s daughter, Candida. The pallbearers were Stephanie Rufo, Ronnianne Rufo, Sarah Rufo, Caila Burke, Marica Rufo, Jesse Bruno Rufo, Dominic Rufo, Robbie Burke, grandchildren.
Mr. Rufo died Jan. 7.

Rosemary was my mom´s dear friend back in the 50´s, and I remember the Rufo´s well. We went to visit them in Boston when my twin brother and I were about 8 years old. What a wonderful memory! God bless their souls. RIP.

My mom was Rosemary´s best friend when they were young. Rose Lampasona. I´m her daughter. We came to Boston and stayed with you when we were little. It was a wonderful time. Great memories of Rosemary and Bruno and the kids. RIP both of you in heaven together celebrating eternal life!!

My mom and dad were good friends. I was just a little girl when we left our Brooklyn home to drive to Boston in the 60’s. I remember them being so warm and loving. I have pictures sitting on the couch with my twin brother Peter and their kids. It was such a happy time, though short. I always remembered Rosemarie and Bruno. I just googled the name and this came up. I’m sorry they both passed away. I wish I looked sooner. God bless. ❤RIP. Love,Gina Lampasona

Bruno was always a great man to see walk into the store. He also always told us story's about his grandchildren. " The girls, all they want to do is shop,but the boys they fish" He was a kind, sweet man and spoke often and highly of his wife. He was an amazing man and will be missed.

To Bruno's Family, I came to know Bruno through the insurance company. He was always a joy to talk to and loved telling us stories about his grandchildren. "The girls want to go to the mall and the boys like to go fishing". He had a great sense of humor and he was always in a good mood. I am so sorry for your loss. You are in my prayes. Jacalyn
