Cameron Connally Obituary

Cameron Mark Connally, age 27, was taken away from us on May 31, 2024 after being struck by a motorist in Savoy while on his way home from a motorcycle ride.

Born in Pittsfield on August 30, 1996, Cameron was a son of Mark E. and Betty A. Connally. He was educated in the local schools and was a 2014 graduate of Taconic High School. Cam worked at Whitney's Farm and Market and, most recently, for the City of Pittsfield Water Department.

He was an avid outdoorsman and looked forward to spending time in the woods. Cameron loved hikes with his dog Loki and girlfriend Angel and going out for ice cream with them, camping, and going kayaking. Cam also spent much of his time hunting and fishing with his father and enjoyed target shooting, explosives and bonfires. Cam was a thrill seeker; he loved snowmobiling, 4-wheeling, his first Jeep he affectionately called Frankenstein, and especially riding his 883 Sportster Harley Davidson motorcycle.

Cam had a smile, grin and laugh that no one will forget. His kindness and ability to be there for others was unmatched. He never hesitated to drop what he was doing and offer a helping hand, even if he didn't know you. He was well mannered and respectful, a true gentleman.

Cameron will be greatly missed by his parents, Betty and Mark Connally, his sister Jennifer Gates and her husband Ricky, the love of his life, Angel Lathrop and their dog Loki, his sisters step daughter, Raigyn Gates, his aunts and uncles, Robert Koldrubsky, Ann and Robert Clark, Joan and Thomas Sacchetti, Tomas and Anne Connally, Stephen Connally, and Ann Connally and his paternal grandfather Edward Davis. He also leaves his cousins, Michael Clark and Norm Cullerton, Sarah and Sohael Gilani, Tessa Connally and Jeremy Lawless, Peter, Susanna and Christopher Connally and his great cousin, Quinn Lawless.

Cam was predeceased by his grandmother, Norma Connally Davis, grandfather, Edward Connally, his maternal grandparents, Ella and William Koldrubsky, his uncle William Koldrubsky and his cousin Quinn Connally.

The loss of Cameron leaves a hole that will never be filled. The World has lost a good man.

SERVICES: All are invited to join the Connally family for a Celebration of Cam's Life on Thursday, June 6th from 4-7pm at the Polish Falcons, 32 Belair Ave., Pittsfield, MA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made payable to Betty Connally, and all funds raised will go towards Loki's Fund. Donations may be mailed to the Devanny-Condron Funeral Home, 40 Maplewood Ave., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
