Clay Richardson Obituary
Born in Pittsfield, MA on April 8, 1966, he was the son of Charles Richardson, Jr., and Eugenie Hassan Richardson.
He was a 1984 graduate of Mt. Greylock High School. Clay married the former Mary Ellen Newton on June 25, 1988.
He was employed by Pittsfield Tire since 2002, where he was the sales manager. He previously worked for 10 years at TCI, the former Tire Town.
He enjoyed cooking, watching NASCAR, and was a New England Patriots fan. Clay was known for hosting his annual 4th of July picnics.
Mr. Richardson is survived by his mother, Eugenie Richardson; His wife, Mary Ellen Richardson of Lanesborough; three sons, Cody Richardson, Bradon Richardson and Camren Richardson, all of Lanesborough. His sister, Irene Blankenship and husband James of Warner Robins, GA, and Valerie Williams and husband Michael of Stephentown, NY; brother, Charles Richardson, III, and wife Pamela of Gansevoort, NY. As well as many nieces and nephews.
FUNERAL NOTICE: Calling hours will be held, THURSDAY, January 27, 2022 from 4 to 7 p.m. at DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St, Pittsfield, MA. Burial will be private in Mountain View Cemetery in Lanesborough in the Spring. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the American Heart Association in care of the funeral home.

I only knew Clay from his work at Pittsfield Tire, and am deeply saddened to hear news of his passing. My sincerest condolences to his family and loved ones. In his work, he was a man of great integrity, compassion, and thoughtfulness. May his memory bring joy, and inspire us towards greater kindness and compassion in our own work - it makes all the difference.

Losing a great guy like Clay is always very heart breaking. My son , Randy and I only knew him from the garage but I know you talked about him often and he was there for you.

Our deepest deepest condolences to the whole Richardson family. We have been so deeply sadden to hear that Clay has passed. We are so very sorry that we missed his service, only because we did not know. Clay, was always known to us, as a kind, gentle soul, that would always help out whenever anyone needed him. We will miss him on those "OUTSTANDING" fireworks, that you and your family always display every 4th of July, and kept us so entertained. He will always be remembered as a kind man, and our helpful neighbor! Rest in peace Clay.

I am So sorry to see that Clay has passed. I haven't seen you in the past couple of years.......
To be able to say Clay was a good friend of mine put me in a special club, he was great guy and a great friend. These past couple of years I have missed having a beer and working together with him. Rest in peace my friend and know that we will tell your stories of the good times for many years to come.
