Mark,
Condolences on the loss of your father. He was a special person who cared for and wanted the very best for his family and his school. He was always kind and helpful and passed this onto his children.
May knowing that he was one of the best help during this time.

Dana was my dearest friend and like a surrogate grandfather to my kids, Mitch and Chris. He was there for me when I owned my home in Dalton, always helping, fixing things and just there as a great friend. He taught my youngest how to pitch and went to Most of His Little League Games in Dalton and Hinsdale, and then onto his many basketball games. My regret is that I did not go to see him sooner as I have been so busy working two jobs, but Dana will always be in my heart and I will be forever grateful for having him as my dearest friend. I was a better person to have spent so much time with him. God bless you Brian, Emily and Austin and the Rest of the Family. He loved you all so much and was so proud!

Dana was a valued and hard-working custodian at our school. Talking to him often after school always made it clear to me that he loved his children, his country and his work. He was a really nice guy.
Requiescat in pace.
