In 1964 Jerry saw Dan in McDonalds standing in line. He had a CBJacket that said Davisville, RI, Jerry told him he was stationed in RI also, Dan asked him how he gets back and forth,he said he thumbs or takes a bus and Dan said no more and he brought him from then on and they became very good friends.

My heartfelt condolences to Dan's family. I worked with him for many years and considered him a good friend. He knew my father and we exchanged stories of things they did.
