During this time of mourning, I would like to express my sincere condolence at the loss of your loved one. May you find comfort in persistent prayers, as “the peace of God that excels all thought will guard your heart and your mental powers.” [Phil. 4:7] I certainly hope that the help God can give at this time will make a difference.

Dear Zavatter Family,
I am sorry for the loss of your husband, father, and brother. You all have my deepest sympathy and are in my prayers. Though I had only briefly met "Melanie's Dad" once, I feel like I knew him because of all of the memories she has shared with me. May your memories and the support of family and friends comfort you during this difficult time.
Much love,

Danie Tardie

I would just like to send my thoughts to all of Melanie's family and her mother up in NJ. I work with Melanie here in VA and have met Kim only once and well- I never got to meet Mr. Zavatter but I felt as if I did know him through all the stories Melanie would tell at work-- how she was named (we have the same middle name by the way) and some cool stories of Melanie's high school years and growing up. I feel as if I know all of you! I am a veteran as well from the US Navy (Hospital Corpsman) and feel that military bond as well. I just wanted to write a little (I am on my lunch break:) Please know you all are in my thoughts!

Zavatter Family,
We are so sorry for your loss. Words cannot explain our sympathy. We knew Dan for a long time and we know he was a great man. He was a rough and tough no nonsense type of guy who got great results in everything he did which includes raising one of the best men I know in Jaired. What he did for his country, community, friends, and loved ones will have an everlasting impact. We are so sorry and want you to know that we are here for all of you for anything you may need.

Zavatter Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I have known you all since I was 5, through good times and bad, and I think of you all as a second family. Dan was a great man, who tried to help me land a job out of college, and always opened his house when I (or anyone one of us) needed a place to crash. He also raised one of the best people I know, Jaired. Dan also tried to make his community a better place by supporting the local rec council. His impact on his community, his friends and loved ones will be sorely missed.

Thanks for everything.

THANK YOU FOR THAT LIFE LESSON. I WILL MISS YOU...LOVE, BREEN.
P.S. THE PADRES ARE MY SECOND FAVORITE BASEBALL TEAM! ALSO, THANKS, FOR LETTING ME CRASH ON YOUR COUCH ALL OF THOSE TIMES.

Mr Zavatter was a man of dedication, morals, and kindness among many things. His reach shows through all the people who have ever met him and been close with him. Hey, even I've learned a thing or two from him and I can honestly say, I'm a better person because of him. It's sad that he had to leave this earth so suddenly, leaving behind a loving family and many friends. But I am certain tho, he will be watching over all those people that he loved and those that loved him. Rest in Peace to a great man, father, and role model..... Mr Zavatter

Kim and family,
As it always seems that sorrowful times bring families together, I hope you take some relief in knowing that I will do my best to always keep in contact with all my cousins and family that I got to see this weekend. I am sure that would make Uncle Danny very happy. May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. It was so apparent that he was loved by so many and has a great legacy with so many beautiful children and grandchilden. He will be in our hearts forever.

To Dans Family,
My deepest sympathy goes out to Kim and her family in our loss of dear Dan. I have worked with Dan for many years here at Northrop Grumman and had daily conversations with him first thing in the morning and lastly in the afternoon before I left for the day. He was a dear co-worker, very professional and a real great guy who will be missed tremendously. My prayers go out to you and your family. Dan rest in peace, until we meet again.
