Doris Senecal Obituary

Doris (Richard) Senecal, 84, of 54 Smith Ave., The Spruces, Williamstown, died Tuesday, July 8, 2003, at the North Adams Regional Hospital.
Born in North Adams on April 23, 1919, she was a daughter of Elie and Alma (Dumouchel) Richard. She was a graduate of the former Notre Dame School, North Adams.
She was last employed for 20 years as head accountant for the late Nikos Psacharopoulos at the Williamstown Theatre Festival in Williamstown. She retired in 1990.
She had been a longtime resident of North Adams until moving to Williamstown in 1979.
She was a communicant of Notre Dame du Sacre Coeur Church, North Adams.
She leaves a son, Leo W. Senecal of North Adams; two daughters, Velma Prevey and Claire V. Senecal, both of North Adams; two grandchildren, Michael Prevey of Bourne and Mark Prevey of Stamford, Vt.; a brother, William E. Richard of Buzzards Bay; five great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

FUNERAL NOTICE -- Funeral services for Doris Senecal will be held Friday, July 11, 9:15 a.m., from the Augé-San Soucie-Simmons Funeral Home, North Adams A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. in Notre Dame du Sacre Coeur Church, North Adams. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery, North Adams.
Calling hours are Thursday, 4-6:30 p.m., at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in her memory be made to the Village Ambulance Service, Williamstown, or the VNA & Hospice of Northern Berkshire Inc., through the funeral home, 46 North Church St., North Adams, Mass. 01247.
