Eleanor Myers Obituary

Eleanor (Hall) Myers, 88, of 118 Church St., Williamstown, died Saturday evening, May 5, 2007, at Williamstown Commons.
Born in Williamstown on June 30, 1918, a daughter of Carleton B. and Ruby C. (Field) Hall, she attended schools there and graduated from the former Williamstown High School with the class of 1936. She also graduated from the former North Adams State Teachers College, now Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, in 1940.
Mrs. Myers was employed as an elementary school teacher in the North Adams Public Schools for many years, until her retirement.
She leaves a son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth F. and Lynn Myers of Pittsfield, three grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Two sisters and a brother are deceased, Ruth Taft, Hazel Maxymillian and Floyd Hall.

FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for Eleanor Myers will be private. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Eastlawn Cemetery in Williamstown. There will be no calling hours.
Memorial contributions may be made to VNA and Hospice of Northern Berkshire or to Elder Services of Berkshire County in care of Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, MA 01247, which is in charge of arrangements.
