Foster Paradise Obituary

Mr. Foster K. Paradise, 73, of Adams, died on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield. He was born in Adams on June 29, 1952, son of the late Charles and Margaret (Williams) Paradise. He attended schools in Adams and graduated from Hoosac Valley High School with the class of 1971. Mr. Paradise last worked for Specialty Minerals in Adams until his retirement. Earlier he had worked for the former General Electric Company in Pittsfield. He was a member of the Adams Lodge of Elks and was an avid Boston sports fan. He is survived by his wife, the former Paula J. Phelps, whom he married on November 4, 1972; his two daughters, Heather Edwards and her husband Simon and Christy Meagher and her husband Michael; and by three grandchildren, Jordan and Matthew Edwards and Jack Meagher. He was predeceased by his brother Steven Paradise who died in 1955. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 29th at 11:00 A.M. in Southview Cemetery, North Adams.
