Gail Wicklund Obituary
She was born on Sept. 24, 1941 in Worcester, MA, a daughter of Muriel and Stewart Bailey, and grew up in Holden. After marrying John Wicklund, they moved to Pittsfield, MA, where they lived in the same house for more than 50 years. She was a housewife, substitute teacher and babysitter.
She and John moved to Maine in their later years to be near their children and grandchildren. John passed away on Nov. 4, 2019, and she missed him dearly.
She is survived by her brother Stewart and his children, Tracey and Mark; her sister Linda and her children, Candace, Kimberly and Robert; her son Eric and his wife Debbie of Lyman, ME; her daughter Linda and her husband Michael Wozny of South Berwick, ME; and her grandchildren Brendan and Andrew Wicklund and Kayla and Trevor Wozny. She is predeceased by her parents, a brother-in-law, Robert Lane, and a grandson, Cameron Wicklund.
A small service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, at Morningside Baptist Church, 475 Tyler St., in Pittsfield, MA. She is being cremated, and her ashes and those of her husband will be scattered together in some exotic, peaceful location.

So sad to read of the passing of the sweet lady. Neighbors for 12 years and mother to a best friend of my daughters. I know she will rest in peace with her dear husband John.
