George Tower Obituary
PITTSFIELD George Allen Tower, 56, of Jacksonville, N.C., died Thursday, March 28, 2013, at Onslow Memorial Hospital.Mr. Tower was a graduate of Berkshire Community College and Almeida College and University.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Frances Tower of Jacksonville; five daughters, Eliza Foley of Adams, Diana Bonnett of North Adams, Mary Ellen Carter of Lenoxdale, Barbara Bonnett of North Adams, and Carolyn Tower of Jacksonville; two sons, Christopher Tower of Savannah, Ga., and Gary Tower of Jacksonville; eight grandchildren; parents, George and Bertha Tower of Lakeland, Fla.; sister, Deborah Akey of Pittsfield; two brothers, Stephen Tower of East Aurora, N.Y., and Andrew Tower of West Warren, Mass.
There will be a memorial service held at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Pittsfield on Saturday, April 13, at 1 pm.
