I met Guy when we were college freshmen and soon became fast friends sharing many adventures in the years since. He could always me me laugh. His parents were always very welcoming to myself and other friends. Brother Gene is also a kind and generous person. I will miss Guy in my life. Sincere condolences to his many friends and family.

So sorry to hear of Butch's passing. My wife and I bought his molunkus camp which he loved very much. Although we didn't know him well, we've never heard a negative comment about him. God bless Guy and his family.

"Butch" was my scoutmaster when I was a young Tenderfoot in Troop 30 of Stockbridge. I will always remember his kind, guiding force, and the way he always stood up for me and my potential. I'll also fondly remember his nickname for me - as a precocious youth with brain that was an information sponge, he lovingly called me "the professor." He always knew how to make the scouts under his care feel seen and feel like unique contributors to our modest Troop.
While I moved on to Troop 23 in Great Barrington where I later became an Eagle Scout, I never could have taken the first step on that journey without Guy's guidance. His presence in the world will be sorely missed.
