Mario lived a life defined by service, dedication, and commitment to both his country and his community. Mario honorably served in the United States Army for 33 years, achieving the distinguished rank of Colonel. His military service included active duty in Germany from 1952 to 1954, where he trained his unit on the first nuclear artillery gun (one of only two ever made). His active military duty was followed by three decades of reserve service stateside from 1955 until his retirement in 1985.
Following his military and academic accomplishments, Mario built a respected legal practice in Irondequoit, where he assisted thousands of clients over the course of his career. He was known for his dedication, integrity, and commitment to helping others.
Mario was also deeply engaged in public service. He served on the

Beyond his professional life, Mario embraced the simple joys that brought him happiness. He loved to golf and treasured the time he spent with his family-especially his wife, son, and beloved nieces. Family was at the center of his life, and he held a special place in his heart for his wife's family, including her parents, her sisters and brothers-in-law, and her nieces and nephews.
Mario and Debbie shared a passion for travel and adventure. Together, they visited Italy and Germany, enjoyed cruises to the Caribbean Islands and Alaska, and created lasting memories across 88 vacation destinations during their 35 years together.
