James Karrey Obituary

James Karrey 1937 - 2008 NORTH ADAMS James Frances Karrey, 71, of 150 Ashland Street, died Sunday, April 27, 2008, at the North Adams Regional Hospital. Born in North Adams, on Feb. 19, 1937, son of Thomas and Eva Chenail Karrey. He attended schools in North Adams. He was employed at the Mount Williams Farm in Williamstown and the Petricca Construction Co., and he was the owner of a small Lawn Care Service Co. in North Adams. Mr. Karrey was a collector of automotive models and an avid Red Sox Fan, and enjoyed country music. He was a communicant of St. Francis Church. He leaves his twin sister, Jane Rice of North Adams, and sister Nancy Nagle of Mamaroneck, N.Y. He also leaves several nieces nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews; two longtime friends, William Perenick and Patrick Hernandez. FUNERAL NOTICE : Services will take place Saturday, at 2 p.m. at the Sherman Burbank Memorial Chapel in Williamstown. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Cemetery. Memorial Donations are suggested for the North Adams Ambulance Service through the Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St. North Adams, Ma.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time. Jim was always "there" in the old neighborhood and I am sure he will be missed by many.
