Mrs. Cella was the most compassionate woman I have ever met. Not only did she teach me so much on an academic level, she also taught me so much on a personal level. Mrs. Cella taught all her students what it was to be a good person. She taught by example. She was and still is an amazing role model for all kids.

Dr. Cella and family,
We were so saddened to hear of Mrs. Cella's passing. Our daughter Kaylyn was privileged to have Janzie as her 2nd grade teacher in 1999/2000. Kaylyn was new to the school and Mrs. Cella was very instrumental in her smooth adjustment and success. She was so kind, loving and supportive yet firm when necessary. Kaylyn will always have a special place in her heart for your wife and mother and she was able to express this to her in a letter when she graduated from Williams. Kaylyn has been quite shaken and saddened by the loss although she is comforted in knowing that Mrs. Cella knew how much she meant to her.
You are in our thoughts and prayers and we hope you are comforted by knowing what a special and truly wonderful woman Janzie was. She will be greatly missed by many.
With our sincerest condolences,
Kathy, Tom, Brendan and Kaylyn Hamel

Dear Rob and family,
I was just heartsick to learn of Janzie's passing. I remember her with great fondness, remembering sharing time at Little League watching our Colin and your Ben on the field or in the dugout, with our younger children playing nearby. I remember bringing our puppy Scarlett down to your house at the end of the street to play with her brother Foster. Although we rarely saw each other once you moved to Williamstown, I've always thought of Janzie as one of the sweetest people I have ever known. I am so sorry for your loss; please accept our deepest condolences. Nancy, Colin, and Darren Ovitsky

Dear Cella Family and Florrie,
We met Janzie the first day at Marymount College as we were all assigned to the St. Joe dorm. We have wonderful memories of our years together. Paula arranged a mini reunion for many of us in NY in 1999, and fortunately, Janzie was there. We will always remember her broad smile, twinkling eyes, and contagious laugh. Our deepest sympathies and prayers are with you.

Dear Dr Cella and Family,
My deepest sympathy, love and prayers to all of you at this most difficult time. My nieces had Janzie for their teacher at Williams and loved her so very much. They are heartbroken to learn that someone as beautiful as Mrs Cella has gone to a better place. Their is no more pain, and God has taken Janzie in the palm of his hands and brought her safely home where she will always be watching over all of us. What a special woman. The Cella Family,
Janzie was a wonderful teacher my family had the pleasure of knowing. She taught my son, Brady Maroni, up until her retirement from Williams School. My son greatly enjoyed her class and is deeply saddened by the news of her passing. She was always available to help him with his struggles in reading and lend encouragement when he needed it. I will always be greatful to her for all of her help and support.

Rob:
I was heartbroken to hear of the passing of your wife. Bill had many kind words to say about you and the difficult situation in which you and your family found yourselves. I certainly can understand and sympathize with your terrible loss. Losing one's spouse and best friend is undoubtedly the most heartbreaking event one can endure. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. I am hopeful that the good memories you two shared will gradually replace the pain of your loss and help you deal with your grief. I know I continually think of all the good times Bill and I have enjoyed and it brings me enormous comfort. I hope the same for you.

TO THE CELLA FAMILIY,
I just want to say how sorry I am for the lose of Janzie. I remember the first time I met her was at a t-ball game that Ben was playing against my son Matt. From that point on, we met at the boy's ski races and Katie and Micaela's soccer games. Janzie was an inspiration to Micaela who actually subbed for her class several years later when she first was out of college. She will be missed. Please know that you will all be in our thoughts and prayers. Gail Broderick and family

Janzie, you were the quintessential teacher! Your ready smile, positive attitude and, most importantly, your humor caused people like me as well as Rachele and Jamie to be drawn to you. Janzie you were the Williams School 1st and 2nd grade gift to the Wessler/Rosiello family!
Parent Teacher Conferences were always entertaining when the topic was Jamie. "He needs to slow down. Jamie thinks every exercise is a race to the finish". I would respond by rolling my eyes and then we would move on to more important topics - sharing family sports stories!
I was truly heartbroken to learn that your battle was over. Rachele, Jamie and I spent many pensive moments together the past few days remembering you and holding each other just a little bit closer. We will miss you Janzie.

We are so sorry for your loss. My son had Janzie for first grade in 2000 - 2001 at Williams. He will always remember her and how fun she made the class by letting the kids take home "Arthur" and writing in a journal about the experience of having Arthur home with them. She was a wonderful teacher and will never be forgotten. Thank you Janzie!!!

Many hearts are broken today as we read about your passing. You were a wonderful teacher to our son Matthew. He enjoyed your class very much. He couldn't wait to run home and tell us what he had done and what a fun teacher you were. When we went to parent/teacher conference your only comment to us was that Matt was "cool" and you enjoyed him so much. Well the same could be said for you! When I worked as a para I could see that the kids responded to you. Your care and concern for them came shining through. You could be strict, but always very kind as you knew these kids needed guidance. How fortunate they were to have you and how honored I feel to have known you. Our loss is Heaven's gain. I know you'll be looking down from a beautiful cloud still guiding these children who will miss you so. Our prayers go out to your family and friends who will feel this loss so greatly.
With great respect,
The Gimlewicz Family
