Dear Mrs. Savery and Family,
I have read this article about Mr. Savery several times and it only increased the respect that I had for him.
It is rare these days to read about such a good man that was a devoted husband and dad for nearly 60 years. I feel that he was a very good example for all of us to follow.
I just wanted to pass along our condolences from my entire family and I will also be sending you a mass card from our local parish. I thought that Mr. Savery might appreciate the thought.
A sincere thanks to you and Mr. Savery for all your kindness and I will remember him in my prayers.
An old friend,
Nick Mosco

I am so very sorry I am unable to be around my family at this time of mourning as well as celebration of Grampa Joe's life. All of my thoughts are with you on this day.
To my Gramma Flo, I hope to be in touch with you very soon. I have heard stories of how strong you are being and I am so impressed with you and proud of you. I want you to know that your sons and daughters-in-laws and your grandchildren will always be nearby to you--especially now that such a central love is gone from your life.
I look forward to learning more about Joe's life from before I was born: hearing stories I've never heard before, becoming more familiar with the man everybody loved so well.
I will see you all again as soon as possible. I send all my love.

I met Joe a few years ago when I was on the Lee High Advisory Council. I was amazed at his knowledge of the school system. I found out today that he, like my mother, graduated from PHS in 1944. She and I spoke this morning . . . we were saddened to read of his passing. Our sympathy to Joe's family, Beth (Hadley) Goetze and Ruth (Cornock) Hadley
