Julia Wolfrum Obituary

Julia May (Maxymillian) Wolfrum, 91 of North Adams, MA passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on February 2, 2024 surrounded by family and friends at her bedside.

Born in Reading, PA on December 17, 1932, a daughter of Frank and Cecelia (Paolucci) Maxymillian, she worked at Sprague Electric Co., for 44 years. Julia loved cardinals, horses and casinos. She climbed the 87 stairs in the Mt. Greylock Tower at age 88, which was on her bucket list.

Julia was a very well-liked and respected person. Everyone that met her and knew her, loved her and she loved them. We will all miss her dearly but never forget her.

Her husband, Walter R. Wolfrum died on October 19, 2000. They were married on January 20, 1949 in South Carolina. Survivors include her children, Roberta M. Wolfrum of Pittsfield and Robert G. Wolfrum and Brenda L. Wolfrum of North Adams; her grandchildren, Candy Germanowski and companion, Scott Taylor, Jr.; Laura Robair and husband, Curt; and Christopher Wolfrum; and great-grandchildren, Corey Rozak and Kyle Rozak. She also leaves her brother, Frank Maxymillian and wife, Virginia "Tookie" of North Adams and Loretta Chesbro and husband, Carlyle "Kie" of Clarksburg and several nieces and nephews.
