Keith Book Obituary

Mr. Keith F. Book, of Pittsfield, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 30, 2025, after fighting a courageous years long battle with cancer. Born in Bourne, MA, on August 11, 1954, son of the late William and Bernice (Greenleaf) Book, he graduated from Wahconah Regional High School with the class of 1973.

Keith enlisted in the United States Army in 1976, where he proudly served his country until his honorable discharge in 1979.

For the majority of his career, Keith was employed in the manufacturing industry, where he worked in plastics.

Among many things, Keith loved drawing and painting. He enjoyed nature's simple pleasures, and being outdoors, especially when hunting and fishing, rooting for the Boston Red Sox, and San Francisco 49ers or going on road trips with his wife, Darlene.

Keith is survived by his beloved wife of 25 years, the former Darlene Pratt, whom he married on May 27, 2000. He leaves behind his brother, Wayne Book (Cathy), of New Mexico as well as many dear extended family members and friends.
