Kelly Garrison Obituary
WILLIAMSTOWN -- A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Kelly Jean (Harwood) Garrison, 41, of 122 Versailles Ave., North Adams, was celebrated Friday, Aug. 24, at 11 a.m., at St. Patrick’s Church with the Rev. Mark Burke, pastor officiating.
The acolyte was Ovilla St. Pierre. The pall was unfolded by her children, Kristen Rickert, Erica Ricket, Michele Rickert and Devin Garrison. The family Bible was placed on the pall by Margaret Harwood, mother. The minister of the word was Margaret Wilber, aunt. The offertory giftbearers were Colleen and Jennifer Harwood, sisters.
The organist and soloist was Diane Maynard.
Burial will take place in Westlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers were Dennis Wysocki and Paul Wysocki, scousns; Michael Wilber and Marc Bottesi, uncles; and Leo Benoit and Michael Higgins Jr., friends.
Mrs. Garrison died Aug. 19. The Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 W. Main St. North Adams, was in charge of arrangements.

When I see your children, I see you, which makes me smile but also sad that you are no longer here. I have already written a message in the guest book but now that time has passed and I have had time to collect some thoughts I would like to say a few things to everyone. Again, I am so sorry for your loss but also want to thank you so much for letting me be part of your family. Coming back to visit you all this week and spending time with you allowed me to remember what a special family you all are to me. I will always remember all of you and cherish the friendship and love we have together. I always thought that time separated people but it does not. I realized this week that it just makes you closer. Margaret, always remember that I am here for you and love you so much. Colleen, where do I begin? Thank you so much for keeping your family together and being the strong woman that you are. Given the circumstances you were amazing this week. You showed the strong,friendly,courageous person that you have always been to me. I am confident that you being the strong person you are you will keep this family together and as strong as they always were. I love you so much Colleen. Jennifer, you are amazing. You showed me this week how much you love your family and it made me so happy to see that. I know that you will be there for everyone of them because it is obvious that you are so proud of them. If you ever need help please call me...don't be a stranger. Kirsten,Erica,Michelle and Devin: I know how you are feeling right now and I wish I could take away the pain but I can't. I know the hugs we all had this week don't help but always remember that your mom will always be with you. I am so proud of you all and what you all have accomplished in life. You three girls and Devin have been dealt a terrible hand but I know how strong you all are and you will do well. Keep strong, think of Mom all the time as she did with you and you will get through this. Stay close with each other as family is special and take good care of Devin as he needs you more now than ever. Devin, I am so proud of the young man you have turned out to be. Hold your head up high as you often do and keep smiling. You have a great family behind you that loves you so much. Reach out to all of them as they will receive you with open arms. Keep up the great work and good luck at Pine Cobble. You so deserve to be there. I also want to hear from you when you are ready to take me up in the air when you fly your own plane. Keep working hard and call if you need anything. Kelly, I miss you so much and being there with your family without you present was so hard. I will always love and cherish the friendship we had and I am going to make a promise to you that I will make sure your family gets through this pain. I will check on them often as you would want me too. Kelly, rest in peace and know that we all love and miss you so much. I LOVE YOU!!

My heart and prayers go out to each of you. Kelly will be sadly missed. She was an awesome woman. Her eyes lit up whenever we spoke about her children. She always had that twinkle in her eye ever since we were we little ones sitting at Aunt Jean's kitchen table waiting for her to make us our peanut butter cookies. I have so many wonderful, fun memories of Kelly from childhood to motherhood. She will be forever in my heart. Know she is taking care of each of you still, now just in a differnt way. Watching over you, keeping you safe and loved. Let your loving memories guide you through each day..one day at a time. I love you all.

We are thinking of you all ever since we learned today of Kelly's passing. We came by your house, and called, but didn't find anyone. We are shocked, and terribly sad. We know from Devin what a wonderful mom Kelly was; we will always remember her cheerfulness, her energy, and the hard work she did every day for her family. Ericka and family,
I want you to know that you guys have been in my thoughts and prayers ever since I heard the awful news. I didn't know her that well, just from the coffee shop, and she was incredibly nice every single time I saw her. Although my heart goes out to each one of you who suffered the loss, I want to tell Ericka that I wish I could have been at the wake to show you my support throught this time. I never put the connection between you and your mom, but, now that I know, it's funny because she would always be talking sooo highly of her children. And, right after I would hear her say that I would go home to hang out with you and Britt. Anyways, you and your family will be in my thoughts for a very long time, and Kelley will be missed forever..

Our hearts and prayers are with you. Kelly was a lovely woman with such compassion and respect for others. I will always remember her coming for a quick visit at the Williamstown Youth Center with her first little pink bundle of joy....and then with each of her precious children. The love for her children would shine from her eyes. I remember thinking what a wonderful role model she was for young moms.
The world shall miss such a gentle soul. It should be a challenge for each of us to make the world a softer place. God bless each one of you and may the Lord bring you comfort in the days ahead.

From the time she was a young girl whenever we would see Kelly she was wearing a smile. When we ran into her at work she always managed to remain unraveled and she possessed a wonderful way of handling customers as though each was her most important. When life handed her lemons she set up a stand and made lemonade - and always she spoke lovingly of her children. Kelly was a lovely person and will be remembered fondly by our whole family for her kind ways and warm smile.

I am so so sorry to hear of the passing of Kelly. Life is so not fair. I sit here and try and think and think why she was taken away so early and the only explanation would be that god needed another angel in heaven and he chose Kelly as his Angel. I know the pain you are all feeling but when you feel this pain always remember that your daughter,sister,mother has not left you and that she will always be with you in spirit. I will always remember Kelly as my dearest friend and will miss her so so much. Kelly was a great Mom, Sister,Daughter and Grandmother who loved all her family so much. She always put her family first and spoke highly of all of you. She was so proud of you. Not only are we sitting here crying but Kelly is in heaven crying and missing you also. I could go on and on with stories of Kelly since we were born but I can't so I will end by saying, Kelly, I love you so much and miss you so much. I will always cherish our friendship that we had and will remember the great times we had since infancy til' now. We had some fun times. While you are in heaven look down on your family and take good care of them. They are great kids and they will keep you proud. If any of you need me please give me a call.
