It's been one year since we lost my baby brother, Kerry, and it is as hard today to deal with it as it was then. In reading the condolences, here, from a year ago, I am reminded of Kerry's dry wit. He was always ready to see the humor in life...
I had the privilege of being his second mother, as I was eleven years old when he was born. I took nearly as much care of him as our mother did. He couldn't pronounce my name when he was a toddler and called me "Sashi".
He was the gentlest child/teen/adult and loved easily. In all our In all our days as brother and sister, I don't recall a time I ever saw him angry!
I admired him all through the years for his calm assessment of life...
I wish I could hug him, but I know he is being hugged by our mom and is in full view of our Lord Jesus! That is a comfort.
Still loving you, baby brother!!!

Believe it or not, there´s still times I quote Kerry, whenever I get to tell someone how the software/etc "actually" blows up enemy submarines. I remember him telling us years ago. On another note I never got to ask him what he did once film cameras became obsolete. In most pictures of him he had a camera around his neck.

Please accept my deepest sympathy. Kerry will be missed and I do have many fond memories of him. He was often the voice of reason when we needed it. Early in my career, Kerry kept our team out of trouble with his leadership and helping navigate the complicated waters that we waded through. He gave a lot to the FBM program and we´ve benefited from his efforts.

To my sister Bonnie, Stephen, Alethea, family and friends.
Kerry will be remembered for his love of nature - studying the stars, bird watching, enjoying the beauty of rainbows, sunrises, and sunsets, his chef level cooking, dry humor and welcoming heart. He worked hard and love, LOVED, cared, and provided for his family.
I have fond memories of adventures with Kerry. He took me to Watkins Glen, went hiking atop Mount Greylock with scenic views. He took me off the beaten path on a whole day road trip to see waterfalls. We will always remember fondly our trip with to Bok Tower in Florida.
May it help you to know many are sharing your sadness over the loss of a very special person.
He is in our hearts and memories and will remain there always.
Our sincerest condolences with our love,
Barbara, Fred, Jenn, & Emily Shepheard

Dear Alethea and Bonnie, and all of Kerry's loved ones, i am so sorry for your loss. I worked at GD and although I didn't work closely with any of you, I knew you all well enough to talk to when we'd run into each other in the halls. You were a wonderful family and I hope your many happy memories of Kerry help to ease your sorrow at this difficult time.
