Kevin White Obituary

Kevin Alan White, "Whitey", 63, of Lanesboro, passed away peacefully on May 24, 2018, surrounded by his family.

Born in Pittsfield, the son of Theodore and Mary Jane Carrow White, Kevin attended local schools and was a 1972 graduate of Mount Greylock.

Kevin was a dedicated truck driver, he loved his home, which he built himself, along with lawn mowing, hunting, fishing, and cutting wood for heating.

Kevin leaves behind his wife, Sandra, two children Tanya M. White (Bobby MeGrail) of North Adams, Kevin T. White (Sara Williams) of Lanesboro, his brother Brian and daughter Christina White of Adams, two grandchildren, Cassie Elynn Winn and Caleb Kevin White, along with many cousins and friends.

The family would like to thank all his friends for all their love and support through the years.

There will be no calling hours or service at Kevin's request. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sandra White, care of the Dwyer Funeral Home, 776 North Street, Pittsfield, MA 01201 to help cover the cost of funeral expenses. Well Christmas is right around the corner. I got through the rest of 2018 now just 1 more hurdle and then Bring in the New Year of 2019! We both have the Christmas envelope u gave each of us and we still have Bobby's winning ticket. We always will have those envelopes and that winning ticket. We all thought you had a idea you were celebrating your last Christmas. You got to meet your Grandson and spend enough time with him to have made an impression. Your unforgettable to so many people. I still run into people that don't know your home with Ted & Mary Jane....waiting for all your loved ones and DEFINATLEY guiding us. You'll ALWAYS light our way. I live and miss you Dad.

I just had to say I love and miss you so very much. I saw Judy at the store she was devastated by the news. She said she wishes she had been around over the yrs to have seen you. I miss you DADDY.

Daddy I don't know how to thank you other than the 60/5 Dozen balloons with a VERY special note tied n tied n tied to those balloons that we just released a half a hour ago.
Daddy we FINALLY set our wedding date, I have 2 PERFECT people to walk me down the aisle in your honor to give your only daughter away.

RIP Whitey. Wow oh man. Tanya was just up at the club n let me know. I'm sorry I let so many years pass by, without seeing you. Ride on brother. Now the " White" men, Good ole Hoofer & Zooray are upstairs with the BIG GUY.....I will have to try to find your brother Brian and catch up with him. May you rest in piece my old friend. I do not know your family but please express to them my sympathies as well. Daddy,
I love you. I miss you really bad, but I know that your pain & suffering is over, you know your wife, children, & grandchildren are going to be okay. Bo will make sure everything is taken care of just as you taught him to, he is very proud to be your son, as I am VERY proud to be your daughter, he will not let you down Daddy he loves you very much, your Grandson will live in the home you & Grampa built. He will have a happy life full of love. I am finally at a time in life you don't have to worry for my safety anymore Daddy, I own my house, I'm in love and happy. Mom will be okay even if she's not, you know her Daddy she'll smile when all she is full of is tears & sorrow. Mom has always been the strong one. Your Granddaughter is safe she knows how much you loved her and I got to relay her message to you, she's safe,smart,&strong. She'll own my house one day & I told you that .Bobby misses & loves you, he thanks you for welcoming into your family for the past 10 years, and you were his Father in law n mom his mother In law, he thanks you for being able to feel like he had a family again after his family's been gone for 30 yrs.
