1936-2013 Mr. Lawrence P. Daury, 77, of Northern Blvd, Hagaman died peacefully on Saturday, December 28, 2013 following a long illness. Born in Pittsfield, MA on February 12, 1936 he was the son of the late Raymond and Marie Merriam Daury. Larry was a truck driver for several companies during his life time. Most recently he was a bus driver for Brown's Transportation until the onset of his illness. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Johnstown and Schenectady. He enjoyed collecting coins, fishing, golfing and reading. Larry also enjoyed playing the mandolin and being a proud member of the Horace J. Inman Senior Center, where his wife serves as Director. Survivors include his wife, Jeannette Chadwick Daury; his children, Paul Daury, Jeanne Christiana, Larry Daury, Sheldon Daury, MaryBeth Lehmuth, Stephen Daury and Melissa Daury; step children, Steven Chadwick, Alex Stevens, Joseph Stevens, Carissa Stevens and Elizabeth DeVisser; siblings, Raymond and Arlene Daury; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. FUNERAL NOTICE: A prayer service will be offered on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at 3p.m. at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, NY. Relatives and friends are invited and may call prior to the service beginning at 1p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Horace J.
