Matt was one of a kind. I can't say enough about how he touch my life. I have one great memory that I can share with you. My daughter was 4 years old at the time. Which was many years ago. As we're sitting there having dinner,Matt was sitting not to far along the way, it was around Christmas time and my wife and daughter just finished Christmas shopping as we're about to join in the festivities. My daughter looked across the way I noticed someone special, and it happened to be Matt, my daughter gasps. As she grabbed my sleeve and as her Eyes grew wide said to me is that Kris Kringle, so as I escaped her presents and mention to Matt her excitement he came over and said Ho ho ho Taylor as my daughter's eyes opened wide with Shear Delight
Matt as he always did have that beautiful grin those rosy red cheeks and that twinkle in his eye. Said Merry Christmas Taylor!!! Matt will always be in my heart he was one of the great ones.

Dear Laurie and Jaime,
Debbie and I are sorry to hear of Matt's passing. We have fond memories of him from our time in Richmond when we lived in your ranch house and, of course when he built the addition on our house. Always a smile and his big, roaring laugh!! In addition to being a master builder, a kinder or more generous person you will not meet.
It was our pleasure to know him and the world will be less for his loss. You are all in our prayers and we will remember him always.
See you Later, Matt.
